Meet Suzie Cain, Owner of Cain Accounting
Owner Suanne “Suzie” Cain earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting degree at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1995, with experience in both public and private accounting. Cain worked for a top regional public accounting firm as an auditor and tax practitioner for six years. Her duties included performing school district audits and not-for-profit audits. She then worked for a large company in cost accounting and logistics for three years. Cain also prepared financial documents and managed the Bond Community Center, a not-for-profit entity in Oconto. She also worked for a financial services firm in Oconto, Wisconsin, for 20 years.

In 2000, she opened Cain Accounting in Oconto, Wisconsin, specializing in business advisory services in addition to business and individual income tax preparation. The accounting firm also handles financial planning, payroll, compilations, bookkeeping, and QuickBooks consulting.

She is also active in the Oconto Chamber of Commerce and Oconto Historical Society, serving as treasurer of both organizations. Suzie and her husband, Travis, have two adult children and three grandchildren. The Cains enjoy boating in the summer, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
